MIS 3520 Data Communication and Networking
Cybersecurity is a key concern for all organizations. At a management level, you need to be aware of what those risks are and how mitigate them. Everything is a balance of costs and benefits. To make informed decisions, we’ll learn fundamentals of information systems and networking such as authentication, IP addressing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs and cryptography. There are also hands-on assignments.
